The Weaving - Three Dimensions

In our world we are familiar with three dimensions – and time. Mathematicians working in the ‘Quantum’ fields are hypothesising there are eleven dimensions– or even more! Difficult to come to terms with. So here is a celebration of what we can recognise within our day to day experience.

The Weaving

At that definitive moment

of incomprehensible love

when You fashioned

the primordial elements,

time was spun

from eternity.

Simultaneously.

You, the Triune God,

wove matter

in three tangible dimensions

and three prime colours;

spinning forth

within those limits,

a skein of time

and threads

to fabricate

and colour

a glorious universe.
