Having celebrated our familiar three dimensions and time last week (Sept 2011), we look at the edges of Superstring theory which hypothesises many more dimensions - eleven, twelve, even up to twenty. To most of us that is a mystery - as is the whole of this created universe.
Eleven dimensions?
Eleven dimensions or more?
Multiverses?
Multiverses?
Particles that can behave
in ways that defy
in ways that defy
most people’s understanding of normality?
Questions to tease the nimblest of minds.
So if, or when,
these pass from hypothesis to proven,
these pass from hypothesis to proven,
why should we be surprised?
How could God be confined
by the four observable dimensions
of our experience?
by the four observable dimensions
of our experience?
He ever has been, ever is and ever will be
revealed in the unknowable,
the mysterious
the mysterious
and far beyond these circumscriptions.
Children sing ‘My God is a great big God’.
Is this far greater wisdom than we might
be inclined to allow?
