The skies are ablaze with the glory of God;
light bursts out of her day-time confinement
to irradiate the deep and dazzling darkness
with her vibrant constituents.
Perhaps heaven touches earth, fleetingly,
inviting those who find their breath swept away
by the spectacle,
to consider whether this might be
the pale shadow
of a scintillating curtain,
veiling that boundary
which can be so thin!
which can be so thin!
