Masqued Galactic Collision (Imagined CGI by the author)
illuminated dust in inconceivable quantities,
trillions of clumps of spiralling aggregate and stone,
all spectacularly ejected
as the heart of a star bursts asunder
in the cataclysmic moment
of transition to supernova.
The imprint of this indescribable event,
(for it is utterly beyond the descriptive power of human language),
will remain etched for aeons
in the deep recesses of space,
where the probing of instruments of twenty-first earthlings
can behold the glory,
extrapolate the physics,
tremble at the raw energy,
and contemplate its ineffable source.
And there, at its point of now,
a new seeding is taking place
as gravity, electromagnetism, dark matter, dark energy
and a host of other turbulent forces,
emanating from the Wisdom of The Creator Spirit,
begin the painstaking birthing of a new star
with planetary companions,
whose potential for new life
is unpredictable and unreadable by us;
but rooted in that most mysterious of cosmic energies, Love.
