Creating the Universe

The Lord stretched out His hand into nothingness,

Father, Son, Spirit said,
"Love, let it be;

Let it be greater than mortals will fathom, yet

Let it be lesser than eternity;

Let it be good,

Let it be beautiful,

Let it have order and form;

Let it show wonders,

A glimpse of my glory,

And let it for long ages turn"
