Eclipse and Epiphany?
From a bedroom window,
giving a clear view,
above a strangely darkened tree canopy,
we watched, as did millions of others,
the awesome moments
of an eclipse of the sun
Few, we know,
through the reach of our screens,
were unaffected by this incredible
cosmic alignment.
More stood in awe.
Some even cried to have been witness
to this rare evidence
of the constant celestial dance
in our little backyard
of the universe.
How many, I mused,
were wakened to the chance
of this being evidence
of the work of a Creator?
