Angels for Advent: Day 6 - Gathering For The Angel Tree

TODAY’S ANGEL CAROL  is a traditional French Carol, 'Les Anges Dans Nos Campagnes'

Angels we have heard on high,
Sweetly singing o'er the plains,
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains.

...And suddenly, there was with the angel

a multitude of the heavenly host,

praising God and saying

 ‘Glory to God in the highest heaven

 and on earth peace...’ Luke 2 vv 13 & 14
